I've always preferred shower curtains to glass shower doors because it is hard to keep the glass looking decent plus the tracks make it hard to do anything that requires a person to lean into the tub. Another good reason has recently come to my attention and that is that once the doors are worn or scratched they can explode. Several people have been hospitalized with injuries from the exploding doors though no deaths have been reported. For $200 a band-aid of sorts can be used to prevent injuries,a safety film that prevents the glass from coming apart when it breaks.
