Recently listed on the market is a house in Deerfield,IL known as the "skinny house" or "pie house" due to the odd way it sits on its lot. It is 1,600 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 2/12 baths for $270.000 but most people are put off by the unusual dimensions. Of course it isn't the first triangular shaped building,there is one just down the hill from where I live and the somewhat famous Flatiron Building in NYC. I think my main concern with this house would be if it is positioned so the winds don't hit it wrong because the skinny end looks like a lot of sail area that might not stand up well to heavy wind.
