Who do you think of when you hear giant rabbit? My go to giant rabbit is Harvey,the 6'31/2"pooka DBA the invisible title character in the movie "Harvey". If you Google giant rabbit Harvey's name is way down the list so I suspect it has to do with my age. But once again,I digress. Today's post is about a Continental Giant aka German Giant rabbit named Jester. He weighs in at 20 lbs and believe it or not is not the largest specimen of his breed. Jester's owner bought him around a year ago when he was about the size of a regular rabbit,she house trained him so he wouldn't have to live in a hutch and now he spends his days following his mistress around the house or sleeping on one of his three beds.
