Some Like It Hot

Does anyone have a highly developed hot and spicy tolerance? If so this might be the stuff you've been searching for,Scientific Steve's Venom Chilli Sauce. According to the story this sauce was developed to mimic the bite of Trinidad Chevron tarantula which leaves victims with muscle spasms and burning pain. No actual spider venom is used in the sauce and since it started as a joke between friends I'm not sure how seriously they are marketing it,but it is now available for those with adventurous taste buds for around $8 and no I didn't misspell Chilli that is how they spell their sauce's name!

There's an App for That?

In the last couple of weeks I've been hearing a commercial on the radio for a local laundromat saying that they now have an app so their machines can be started remotely. After turning it over in my mind every which way I couldn't come up with how that could possibly work. First you would need to have your clothes, detergent and whatever else you might want to add to a load of laundry in a washer so why would it be beneficial to start it remotely? of course the same would go for drying, the clothes would need to be transferred from the washer to the dryer before starting. Thinking I was missing something I tried Googling it but the only laundry app I found was related to stain treating and descriptions of the somewhat cryptic symbols that are being used on clothing to determine the do's and don'ts for that item. Alas I'm no further to knowing about this app that when I first heard about it.

Dream Sorter

In the past a friend insisted on buying a dream catcher for me with the hope of keeping the crazy dreams at bay,it didn't work which is fine with me as I have always enjoyed my wacky dreams. In the past the dreams were mostly a source of entertainment but as I get older they are also proof that I had good REM sleep. The one thing I could use help with is sorting out the absurd details of the dreams so as to put them aside and get on with the agenda of the day. Early this morning I woke up with the name Oda Mae Brown on my lips. I know who played Oda Mae and what movie she was from but I've never seen the movie, not to mention it didn't seem to relate to the dream of my neighbors having many truckloads of wood chips dumped in their yard to the point where all the houses in the neighborhood were nearly covered with wood chips at which time a grader was brought in to smooth them out. So as you can see I need a sorter, not a catcher.

Two Birds One Stone

For those of us who don't keep track Lent started on March 6 and goes through April,18. Lent is usually observed by fasting or giving something up,a common thing to give up is alcohol. With that said a Cincinnati,Ohio man decided to follow the fasting rituals of the 18th century Bavarian monks. He has given up food for Lent and is only having beer. Since he works at the Fifty West Brewing Company he has a wide variety of beer and ale to chose from. Another perk he has noticed is he has lost over a stone (14 lbs) but he is in no way recommending drinking only beer as a new diet trend.

Torture Device

The company FashionNova is not in any way I can discern about fashion. When I first heard about their company they were peddling lingerie in a style that put me in mind of an elaborate dog harness made of ribbons and never mind if a sexual partner became overly excited I fear it would be a severe strangulation hazard for at least one if not both people involved. Now they've come out with "Here for Fun" bodysuit. I don't know who they think it would be fun for but I'm fairly certain it wouldn't be the one wearing the bodysuit. In all fairness I can easily imagine both these items being worn by the current FLOTUS,but the entire world has already seen her in items composed of less material and possibly less taste,if that is possible.

This Little Piggy

This piglet went to market at 4 weeks of age but she got lucky and was rescued by the founder of the Farm Sanctuary shelter in Cape Town,South Africa. They worried about how to keep the animal stimulated and tried various balls for entertainment but what seemed to draw the pig's attention were the paint brushes still lying around the newly built barn. She was  soon dipping the brushes in paint pots and making paintings which in turn caught on in a big way,one selling for $4,000 which was donated to animal welfare. She is now collaborating with Swiss watchmaker Swatch to design several different watch faces in honor of the Chinese year of the pig.  They appropriately named her Pigcasso. I wonder if the paint brushes were boar's bristle?
