When Fish Drive

 It seems like there should be a portmanteau word for fish driving but I couldn't come up with one that worked. Yes,you read that right fish driving,scientists in Israel designed a fish operated vehicle (FOV) then taught the fish how to drive it. For those of you thinking what is that information good for? actually quite a lot. First it helps understand how the fish navigate their normal surrounding to find food,avoid predators and other functions necessary for survival,it also proved that the goldfish's brains could adapt to terrestrial navigation and just how easily they learned their new area proving to be helpful in Behavioral Brain Research.  

Double Down Under

 An Australia woman with two vaginas makes $75,000 a month creating adult content for online subscribers. She started out as a private escort and traveled the world working,then she met her fiance and went into her current occupation,she says she uses one vagina for business and one for pleasure. On the plus side they both feel completely different during sex and both are small making any pregnancy risky not to mention when she has a period she has to use a tampon in both vaginas. She had a baby boy in 2021 and is now expecting again though she has to deliver with C sections and they have to deliver the babies before they  get to large. 

Waste Not

 It's about time grocers started doing something about food waste since there are so many people going hungry and so much food being wasted. This step seems like a no brainer but it's a step in the right direction. A chain grocery store in the UK is scraping "use by" dates and replacing them with "best before",they suggest if you're in question to give the milk the sniff test which goes back many decades to when people could still determine the quality of a product without being told. I might also mention that even if it doesn't pass the sniff test it can still be used for baking much like buttermilk,though from that point it should be kept in the freezer to prevent it from further aging. 

Dirty Doodling

 Usually it's a case of peoples minds seeing images in an unintended way but this time the innocent drawing didn't look so innocent. The couple's 7 year old daughter had expressed an interest in art and asked for art supplies for Christmas. She had been working on a drawing and showed her mom who was shocked because of what she thought the drawing depicted. She told her to go ahead and finish her drawing and it then became obvious that she was drawing her sweets. When dad came home from work and they started laughing at her drawing the poor little girl didn't understand what was funny about her artwork. Hopefully it won't discourage the budding artist.  

Discrimination?

 Has anyone ever wondered why felines got a pass when leash laws were established? That may be coming to an end as a council in Western Australia has banned cats from several areas unless accompanied by a human and on a leash. The idea is to protect wildlife and the cats themselves from being hit by cars and other hazards of being alone outside. At first it sounds like government involvement where it isn't needed but if you think about it it begins to make sense,not only would it protect the cats and the wildlife it would also cut down on feral cat populations eventually. Not to mention clearing up the canine discrimination issue by making  felines subject to the same leash laws.  

The Desperate and the Demented

 The very thought of this going on is sickening and I would hope that anyone would know to do their own research before administering a "miracle" cure to their autistic child. So far this has only been reported in the UK but it is sure to keep cropping up until the people behind the scam are all rounded up. They are selling a Master Mineral Solution (MMS) which is actually a harsh chemical cocktail that can cause severe reactions. Yet another group claims autism is caused by parasites and can be cured by drinking their cleansing agent or using it as an enema,which should be a red light warning right there. Autism is a neuro developmental disease and there is no help to be had from treatments like these there is however a likelihood of death. 

Reality Sucks

 Actually it's reality shows that suck since they don't depict reality but most often are based on humiliation. Starting back in the 1950s with Queen for a Day the premise was to make the viewers feel superior to the bedraggled women with the best sob story all for some measly appliance. Today there are many twists and turns on reality shows but the bottom line remains the same,public humiliation. In case that final puzzle piece hasn't clicked into place for some of you my point is that's how we have collectively become a holier than thou uncaring lot from seeing on the tube that it's perfectly okay to treat people like trash as long as the ratings are good. I swore off reality TV when a certain host became a certain politician and haven't looked back,in fact I highly recommend it.
