I'm sorry to say I missed the third annual T-Rex Races at Emerald Downs in Auburn,Washington. This is the first year they used a starting gate though it didn't add much dignity to the affair. There were 24 contestants so there were two T-Rex per space in the 12 gates. The race has somehow evolved from the first year of people running in Hawaiian shirts,the second year in togas and from there it naturally went to dinosaur suits. They've even taken to naming the contestants,names like Regular Unleaded and Rex Girlfriend. Sounds like a fun time,I will have to watch for it next year.
