Normally the Kentucky Derby is held the first Saturday in May which would have made it this coming Saturday but for the second time in the history of the race it is postponed until Sept. 5,Labor Day weekend. The first time the derby was postponed was due to WWII and as with that first postponement they are holding a turtle derby instead on this Saturday. It will be eight minutes of edge of your seat racing as contestants with names like,Seattle Slow,Sir-Hides-A-Bunch,American Toruga and Galapa-Go sprint to the finish line. If you're up for the action it can be viewed at YouTube.com/OldForester at 7 p.m.
