Which would you like first, the bad news or the good news? The good news is scientists in the Netherlands have trained honeybees to detect COVID,bees not only have an exceptional sense of smell they are also easily trained. They reward the bees for detecting the positive samples with sugar water when they correctly identify the sample so the test results are immediate. Though there isn't really a need for this in most countries it may be useful when the traditional testing isn't available. Now for the bad news...after reading about the bees I began to wonder if they are still working on tests that must mean that we aren't nearly out of the pandemic woods yet,so that was my next stop on the web. Though there isn't a 100% accurate way to tell,it is likely to keep going until at least 2024,so here's my idea...quietly snuff out those among us who are refusing the vaccine, that should shorten up the time line!
