I'm beginning to wonder if KFC has slipped a corporate cog. They recently launched a crowdfunding site in hopes of raising $46,000 to develop hot tubs that look like the iconic chicken tubs. The tubs would feature wood fired heating,capacity for five people,and KFC branding. That's not all they have cooking,they are also seeking funds for a picnic with the Colonel,Colonel on ice skating show,and they are asking customers to contribute ideas...one customer suggested a KFC slip and slide. The bad news is none of these fund raising pleas have netted more than $1,000,and why would they? It seems like if they want to promote their brand it should come from their advertising budget,but then again as P.T. Barnum was credited with saying,"A sucker is born every minute."
