Lie Like a Dog

I smiled when I read about this clever though deceitful pooch,at least his lie caused no harm. A man took his dog to the dog park for some fun and games and the dog lost his ball to another dog but rather than playing with another toy his dog grabbed a stick and ran up to the dog who had his ball and started bouncing around and playing with the stick in a way not usual to his owner. The dog's ploy worked as the other dog decided he really wanted that stick and gave up the ball. After posting about the incident several people responded with their own stories about doggy deception so apparently dogs have known how to lie for some time.
