Something's Fishy

A store in Kuwait is closed awaiting the scales of justice to grind out their sentence for putting googly eyes on fish to make them appear fresher. It seems like they should at least get a C for creativity, though they must still value honesty above a nice try in their country. I've always been told that a fish store shouldn't smell like fish if the fish is fresh,though no one has ever mentioned that the fish should not have fake eyes. The googly eyes really do look pretty weird on a fish.

Looking For Work?

This job is nearly good enough to bring me out of retirement,but there are a couple of things holding me back. A firm in Mexico is looking for a pro-vacationist to spend an all expense paid year staying at luxury resorts then sharing the experience on social media. The "work" pays $120,000 a year plus travel expenses and meal vouchers for the resorts which are located in various Mexican locations. Applicants may be required to learn to salsa dance,usher baby turtles to the ocean,swim with whale sharks and determine how many hours of poolside lounging is too many. If you're interested submit an online application with Grupo Vidanta's by October 21,the results of the search will be posted November 1.

Ow! but How?

Today's post took place in Sanya,China where a tourist was enjoying a swim when a stingray stung him on the penis and to add insult to injury it stayed attached.  Before I go any further I want to state for the record that I'm not an expert on stingrays though I can't help but wonder how it managed to slip,undetected into the man's swim trunks, that don't look loose fitting,and latch onto his penis? The man made it to the beach where emergency services were eventually able to free the stingray. The man went to the hospital to be checked and the stingray died at the scene.

Two Right Feet??

According to the saying if a person is clumsy they have two left feet. With that thought in mind if a clumsy person were to burgle a shoe store wouldn't they take left shoes? Some of you may be thinking at this point that this incident took place in Florida but this time you'd be wrong! The shoe store in question was located in Roanoke,Virginia and the thief took 13 right shoes,some shirts and hoodies plus one actual pair of sneakers. Perhaps the oddest thing of all is the same thing happened to the same store earlier in the year. The only reason I could come up with is either they were an amputee or knew an amputee,but how many shoes would an average amputee need in the course of a few months? It doesn't seem like it would be a number above 13. Another thought is the thief knew of the controversial advertisement that Nike released and stole only Nike shoes to be used for burning in protest without actually purchasing them...yes,that sounds like the logic of a trump supporter.

And It Really,Really Works!

I'm not sure how good of an idea a 24 foot bong is,but a Cannabis museum in Las Vegas has one. It seems like an incredibly bad idea to have two flights of stairs to climb to the top of Bongzilla,but they also offer an elevator to travel distance from the 100 gallon reservoir to the mouthpiece above.  The bong weighs more than 800 pounds and the bowl can hold a quarter pound of marijuana,plus the blown glass has elements in it that make it glow under black light. I can't imagine trying to take a hit off of it and never mind changing the water. Good thing I gave that stuff up back in the 70s.

Here or Mir?

For around a month now when I make my daily post and then check to see which posts have had the most readers and where those readers are located I've been finding something odd. Usually there is a map of the world that is filled in with shades of green to reflect how many readers from each country,the green can be anywhere from forest green to a pale green. Lately the numbers are listed for each country but the map isn't colored and this all started when Unknown Region started showing up with readers of usually around eight. So my question is exactly where is there an unknown region? Since Antarctica isn't shown on the map I thought it might be a possibility,though eight readers from there didn't seem likely,then I thought maybe someone was bored on Mir,also doubtful. I finally settled on Unknown Region being the same place where Malaysian Flight 370 disappeared,hey,it makes as much sense as the other guesses.
