Have you heard about the new McDonald's promotion? They are calling it the 24-carat gold card which they say is good for free food for life with the additional qualifier of life being 50 years. Along with that caveat the "gold" card has to be won in a contest by using the app on your phone to order,oh,plus if you were to win the free food it amounts to twice a week,not daily. There are actually two unlimited McDonald's gold cards and oddly enough one belongs to Bill Gates as if he needs free McDonald's. The other was actually a pink card given to Mitt Romney's father by McDonald's founder Ray Kroc. Count yourself lucky for not winning,I'm relatively certain eating too much McDonald's would shorten you life considerably. As promotions go this one isn't as expensive as a TV spot as the total for twice a week for 50 years only comes to around $52,000.
