Next time someone accuses you of anthropomorphism mention a few of the animals in today's post and see if they change their mind. First up is a kitty who decided to contribute to the family dinner by dropping a freshly caught mouse into the pot.
Next up is a firefighter's dog who was chewing on a device with a lithium-ion battery when it suddenly started smoking. He dropped it on the rug which caught fire but all was well as it was caught on camera so only the rug was damaged, and possibly the dog's honor.
Deputies in South Lake Tahoe were summoned to a break in at an ice cream shop, when they arrived they found a bear behind the counter eating only strawberry ice cream with no interest in the other flavors. The bear was eventually herded from the shop.
