A nine year old boy was cast as Elvis the Elf in his Christmas concert, the first fail was he didn't mention the elf part, the second fail was the slip the school sent home said he needed a sparkly Elvis costume. The family assumed Elvis meant Elvis Presley as in a previous Christmas program he had been an alien as the programs weren't always related to Christmas. They found an Elvis outfit online that was a perfect fit though not as sparkly as he wanted. The mix-up wasn't noticed until the day of the show when "Elvis" was the only child out of 12 who wasn't dressed as an elf. Not the shy type by nature the boy embraced the role and is now interested in Elvis' music.
