These times call for humor,with that said I present today's post. A man in Vienna,Austria was fined $565 for farting in front of the police (and you thought wearing masks was bad?). Police explained that no one is fined for accidentally passing gas but this man did it in a provocative and uncooperative manner,further explaining that he had climbed up on a bench,looked right at the officers and let loose a blast. He was fined for offending public decency.
In other related farting news...in 1958 a golfer named Tommy Bolt,aka Tommy Terrible was fined $250 for farting in what is known today as the Fed X-St. Judes Classic.
