Today's post is a twofer,along with bagpipe news,or maybe olds for some of you,you will also be getting an optical illusion in hope that someone can tell me where the third girl is. Before I get started why isn't olds a word?
Everyone associates bagpipes with Scotland though they didn't really originate there. They started out in Sumeria in the third millennium B.C. as a double pipe and made their way north from there. Eventually they became part of the military with the Roman Empire and when Caesar invaded Britain he hid the bagpipers from the mounted Celtic forces. When the Calvary began to move in Caesar ordered the pipes to play and the sound of the nasal droning spooked the horses allowing the Roman victory.
