Eww Factor

Originally from Melbourne,Australia a 23 year old midwife is making some extra money creating things from the placentas of her customers. She always makes a print of them as a sort of keepsake of the occasion and often dries the umbilical cord into a design,but she also making a variety of skin creams,capsules and smoothies. She says the placenta has valuable nutrients that ward off several postpartum problems. It makes sense for it to be ingested since most animals eat their afterbirth,but I would have a hard time getting past the eww factor,especially with a smoothie. She makes around $13,783 per year with her sideline,so there is that to consider as well.
