It comes as no surprise to me that the day after a Christmas rant I would find something amusing about the holiday. I've never actually seen the Elf on a Shelf in person since it has only been in existence since 2005 but from the pictures it looked like he had other things on his mind other than spying on kids for Santa,and alas,for once I was proven right!
