There are pros and cons to the idea of preserving the beloved tattoos of family and friends when they die. On the pro side the artwork is expensive, plus it could serve as visual connection with the deceased. On the con side there will never be a long enough time span to not be reminded of Ed Gein, the serial killer who made clothes and other items from his victim's skins. Either way the new business "Save My Ink Forever" will make wall hangings or frame your loved ones body art, though they draw the line at inked genitals and face art. The end result is low maintenance art that you treat the way you would any fine artwork. I don't know much about tattoos but I wonder if a wrinkled tattoo could be stretched to show the original work,or if the skin would be to fragile? Why do I think of this macabre stuff?
