Google to the Rescue?

While I think most folks still have the sense to trust their eyes and other senses over what Google Map might tell them, there are obviously a fairly decent number who put their total trust in technology regardless the situation. A town on the island of Sardinia,Italy found it necessary to post signs warning tourist to not follow Google Map as their fire department had received 144 calls from drivers and hikers who found themselves stranded. Seriously though,why would anyone think they could take their Porsche on a trail? and no,I'm not talking about a  Porsche SUV, and then be surprised when they became stuck. The signs suggested using paper maps though I'm guessing reading paper maps is likely to be an unknown skill these days...and never mind folding up the paper maps!
