Despite or maybe because of pandemic restrictions Guinness World Records are being broken at a breakneck rate. At a Washington casino in La Center two World Records were broken at the opening of a parking garage. The fastest and furthest distance driven in a 91% edible car. The cars were made out of cake and mounted on aluminum frames. The winning vehicle was driven by Michael Andretti and was a replica of a car he drove in a championship season,the other was a replica of a car once driven by his father Mario. The winning speed was 17.08 mph for a distance of 349.81 feet. After the event the cake portion of the cars was donated to a local food access program.
