Researchers have found a new miniaturized chameleon in the rainforests of Madagascar that is probably the world's smallest reptile though it may be endangered. The most intriguing fact about this find was the size of the critters genitals. Though the males are smaller than the females (males measure less than an inch long, females 1.13 inches) their two penises (called hemipenes) are 0.09 inches long. They believe this is to allow them to fit with the larger females. Another interesting fact is the males often ride on the females back until the females are ready to mate. Madagascar has more than their fair share of unique animals which is often true of islands.
