The one thing I left out of yesterday's post was Smart Bricks which were supposed to be Legos that could sense incoming feet and get out of the way which would automatically make them a big seller. It's probably a good thing I left that item out since today's post is about people stealing Legos. A French ring of toy thieves were caught near Paris,they were stealing Legos to sell in Poland. Apparently Legos are a hot item for thieves worldwide. An Oregon man was caught with $7500 worth of Legos he was planning on reselling on eBay. Collectors pay top dollar for unopened collector sets,for example a 2007 set,Lego Cafe Corner originally sold for $150 is now going for $3000. Who would have guessed that Legos would become an investment item?
