Rare words are the topic of today's post, let's start with "cleek" any guesses? Cleek can mean a club, like one used in golf or it can be a hook like for fishing. How about "erf"? Erf comes from Dutch for an inherited piece of land and is used to legally define an urban plot of land in South Africa. Dragoons were 17th and 18th century European armies known for their brutal tactics, today dragoon means being pressured or forced into doing things you don't want to do.
