If you are thinking of naming your new baby an unusual name that will stand apart from the masses you might want to do that with caution as there are banned names in the US and also most states have their own banned names lists, along with most countries. Most of these seem like obvious no-nos while others less so though if you choose a banned name it would serve you well to have a back up name should your choice be denied.
