Face Off

I am a little confused by this story but maybe some of the important details were lost in the translation? A Brazilian inmate almost escaped from prison dressed as a woman. They imagine his disguise was smuggled in by a pregnant woman as they are often used as mules to smuggle contraband into the prison. His plan was to leave through the front door after visiting hours leaving his daughter in his place,but when he had to respond to a question he was unable to make his voice sound like a woman's voice. So...was a pregnant woman visiting him? or some other random prisoner? and was his daughter on board with this switcheroo,or was she an unwitting accomplice? and what kind of guy would let his daughter take his place in prison in what I imagine was a male cell block?
