In an epic advertising fail an UK teeth whitening company featured a photo of a smile with around 60 teeth and the caption "We'll whiten all your teeth." Needless to say most people found it creepy at best. It put me in mind of the commercials for Dentastix where the dogs have human teeth,which also creeped me out. I was under the impression that the tooth whitening craze was relatively recent but from what I read it goes back to ancient times when the methods were questionable at best though having white teeth was considered the next best thing to being royalty.
