Stay-cations have been around for a long time but didn't always have a name. People aren't required to go anywhere on their time off and it is often more restful to stay home not to mention the cost of traveling. So I'm a little perplexed by the trend of fakecationing,seriously why would anyone want to pretend to have traveled when sometimes they didn't even leave work? It gets worse...though most fakecationers have their own ways to fake their vacation photos,there is an actual company who does the deed for you for $19.99. If I ever get that desperate for attention I will close out my social media accounts and call it a wrap.
