The adult Lego trend seems to have really taken hold during the pandemic when people were looking for ways to keep busy that didn't involve anyone outside of their families. Since then it hasn't slowed down in fact in several instances people have remodeled their homes or built special homes to include their Lego hobbies, often the basements of homes are the dedicated Lego consturction zone. Some adults make it a family hobby but oddly enough the children seem to grow out of the Lego craze. It can be fairly expensive with some kits costing $1000, not to mention the rooms built for the hobby but Lego is more than willing to accomodate the adults who aren't ready to grow up, but other than kids who really wants to grow up?
