Trash Orchestra

Young Paraguayan muscians give concerts with instruments made from recycled trash. They play a variety of  instruments including cellos, violins, and saxophones made from forks, paint cans, discarded pots and pans and other recycled trash. The musicians live on the outskirts of the capital and their city is centered around one of the largest landfills in South America. Most families earn a meager living picking through the trash looking for things they can recyle. "Even if you don't own anything, that is not an excuse to not do something. You can do a lot with a little," said the orchestra director, Fabio Chavez.
