People tend to sleep more in the fall/winter months, there are a couple of reasons for that. One is when the days are shorter the body's melatonin levels increase making us drowsy and less energetic, causing us to want more sleep. The other reason is a shift in our circadian rhythm caused by the lack of daylight so if you are sleeping more that you want to try getting outdoors more to get the natural light or try using a light box for 30 minutes each morning, or you can pretend to be a bear and hibernate until the long dark is over.
