Domino Effect

Watching real dominos fall in elaborate layouts can be spellbinding but not so much fun when it's a series of bad decisions causing a domino effect. That's what is about to happen with DOGE's efforts to "save" money. Not only are the people they are putting out of work going to be unable to contribute to anyone else's welfare they will also be needing assistance in short order. One of the many bulk dismissals was national park employees without so much as first checking to see how much the parks effect their local economies. In 2023 park visitor spending was 32 billion which more than pays for the parks employees payroll and the visitors spend locally in addition to at the parks on things like lodging, food, retail and more so those business will also be hurt by these cuts. All to make two insecure people feel powerful, but better buckle up it's bound to get worse.
