Yesterday was the Championship Air Guitar competition though I've been unable to find out who will be going on to the World Championship in Finland. It seems a little crazy to have all these people competing for a title without an instrument,but who's to say what another person does for fun,and it does look like they have fun. A panel of 5 judges score contestants on a scale of 4 to 6 based on technical merit,stage presence and airness. Airness is described as transcending the silliness of the moment to leave everyone yelling their heads off for someone who wasn't actually playing a guitar.
