Maybe Minus the Mint

An ice cream parlor in Scotland is serving Brussels sprout/mint ice cream for the holiday season. The ice cream is made with real sprouts and peppermint oil and is served with a frozen sprout as garnish,or at least I assume its purpose is garnish since it doesn't seem like anyone would be expected to gnaw on a frozen sprout. I love sprouts and can even imagine eating sprout ice cream as several recipes for preparing sprouts feature cream or half and half, but I can't put the mint into the mix without making an ugly face.
