Remember "Laverne & Shirley" where Laverne's go to drink was Pepsi and milk? Even though most people cringed at the thought of that combo there are still people who enjoy the mixture. It doesn't sound all that bad once a person considers other odd twists on drinking soda, for instance Dr. Pepper was initially served cold but in 1958 the company president was visiting a bottling plant during a blizzard when he came up with the idea of serving Dr. Pepper as a heated beverage. The company encouraged customers to heat the soda on the stovetop to 180 degrees then pour over a lemon slice into a mug. Surprisingly it was somewhat of a hit with ad campaigns calling it "Devilishly Different" and a "Winter Warmer" there are still fans of the heated drink though I'm guessing they are careful about who they tell.
