A California beach recently received considerable attention when thousands of fat innkeeper worms (aka penis fish) washed ashore after a storm. The worms are normally found in mud flats where they burrow into the sand. Though they are considered a gourmet treat that are eaten raw most of these phallic shaped worms went to waste,other than the ones the seagulls gorged on to the point they could no longer fly,but hey,that's what seagulls do! They sure don't look tasty.
