A couple of days ago I posted about artwork at the Guggenheim involving a banana duct taped to the wall selling for $120,000. I correctly assumed it was a real banana and wondered about fruit flies and if the value would drop when the banana rotted off the wall. As it turned out there was nothing for me to worry about as a performance artist went into the museum,took the banana from the wall and ate it. The man was escorted from the museum but no charges were brought against him,however on Sunday another man wrote on the wall the banana previously occupied "Epstien (Epstein misspelled) didn't kill himself"in red lipstick and he was arrested for criminal mischief. Obviously the art world needs further studying!
