Today's post should be filed under "who knew" for a couple of reasons...who knew that in Britain they attach pedometers to pigs in order to prove the pigs are free range,who knew that if one pig ate the pedometer attached to another pig then pooped it out that the copper from the battery when mixed with the pig poop would start a fire? That is exactly what happened on a farm near Bramham...I'm pretty sure the name of the place wasn't meant to be a pun. No firefighters or animals were injured and they did manage to save the bacon.
