Rodents Rejoice

The British Foreign Office must have a generous retirement plan as Palmerston the resident mouse catcher has turned in his notice signed with two paw prints to the most senior civil servant . Palmerston was rescued from Battersea Dogs and Cats home in 2016 and instantly gained fame for his mice catching abilities and posing with visiting diplomats. Other than a few clashes with Larry, the mouser in chief at 10 Downing Street,Palmerston enjoyed his work but he now wants to get out of the limelight, relax and spend time in his new country home.
