Have you ever had a bird crash into your window? After your heart rate returns to normal most people go to check if the bird is okay,though sometimes they have vanished. Not to give all birds a bad rap but the Cedar Waxwing returns to Texas every year about this time and due to the pandemic people have been home to notice the birds peculiar behavior which as it turns out is a yearly routine . The birds diet consists of mostly berries and this time of year they often get berries that have fermented causing the birds to get drunk but not to worry these birds have a large liver that is equipped to take care of the ethanol and prevent any long term damage.
