Good For Nothing

For the past two years a 37 year old Tokyo man has rented himself out as a man who can eat, drink and give simple feedback, but nothing more. At first he wasn't charging for his "rent a person who does nothing" service but since so many (3,000) people have wanted to hire him he started charging $95. Some of the "jobs" he has been hired for are: filling in for group video gamers, accompanying people filing for divorce, sending people off who are moving, going to Disneyland, listening to a cheater confess, and one regular customer who is a writer and uses his service to have someone along during sketchy research trips. The most important aspect of his job he says are listening and nodding when appropriate. He looks so sad maybe that is why people open up to him.
