Since I'm a little pressed for time today I decided to post a "simple" illusion which apparently has no concrete answer. People see a few as 3 colors to as many as 39. The good news is no matter how many you see depends on a couple of different things,your screens level of brightness,contrast and saturation,the type of device you're viewing it on and the amount of light surrounding you in real life. When I say I saw 10 I wasn't counting the faint lines separating the colors so that's another factor to consider.
