Losing a pet is never easy and deciding what to do with their remains isn't getting any easier either. In the past pets were mostly buried but in more recent years people have turned to cremation and other options like taxidermy. Maybe it's just me but having your pet stuffed or in the case of one golden retriever its pelt tanned and turned into a rug,makes the animal seem more like it was an object to be preserved rather than an honored member of the family. I just had an even creepier thought...what if this is just the beginning of having your pet stuffed and in the future it can be reanimated with artificial intelligence,a robotic incarnation as it were? Now that is truly creep.
