Some of you no doubt remember the pre-espresso days when the most difficult part of ordering coffee was if you wanted cream or sugar,now it looks like tea may be headed in the same direction. I'm not talking the varieties of tea available because we're already there. I'm talking about things beyond bubble tea. The latest trend is cheese tea which apparently started in Taiwan and quickly gained ground in China,it is now in the UK and starting to hit the US. The cheese isn't what you first think of when you think cheese,it's a soft whipped cheese similar to cream cheese. There are other types of cheeses being offered as well but that is the most popular. To get the most from your cheese tea you need to drink it from the cup so you get the cheese and tea in equal measures.
