Clever Kids

Although I was disappointed to discover that the two 10 year old Massachusetts kids were not the first to come up with the idea of 3D crosswalks,it still speaks well for their creative problem solving skills, and never mind they are years away from driving which left the perspective of a driver out of the equation. When the brother of one of the ten year old kids was nearly hit at the crosswalk in the driveway of their school the boy and girl decided it was time to act. They took their solution to a group they belong to,Center for Citizenship and Social Responsibility, who in turn hired an artist to put the idea into action. The city (Medford) is planning on adding 3D crosswalks to the other elementary schools during the summer.
