A Cry For Help

Having owned parrots in the past today's post seriously cracks me up. Police in Florida responded to a distress call when a neighbor kept hearing someone screaming "Let me out! Let me out! Ohh,Ohh,Ohh! When they arrived at the address they found a man working on his wife's car in his driveway and could hear for themselves someone calling to be let out. The man explained it was his 40 year old parrot named Rambo. When the man was a young boy and Rambo wasn't allowed out of his cage he taught him to say "Help, let me out!" These days Rambo sits on a perch on the porch when his family is outside but persists in his tried and true saying,"Let me out!" After the police were satisfied that no one was in danger he took Rambo to meet the neighbor who had called for the police and everyone had a good laugh.

When someone in a Florida neighborhood heard what sounded like a woman screaming for help, the person called 911. The voice was actually coming from a parrot saying, “let me out!"
Deputies in Florida received a surprise after responding to a report of a woman screaming for help to find the culprit was a parrot. Officers from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrived at a home in Lake Worth Beach on Dec. 29 and found a man working on a car in a driveway.
