Today's title reminds me of the Lou Reed song,"Walk on the Wild Side" but other than the FL connection doesn't have much to do with the subject. I thought it was time to update Florida's weird status and reiterate that just because they haven't been included lately,they are still weird. A 15 year old poodle who had disappeared from his owner's home in Virginia 5 years ago turned up at a Cape Coral animal shelter where his microchip was read allowing them to reunite Snowball with his owner.
This last one is kind of cool,a teacher went the extra mile for her students when she was trying to describe snow. She contacted her sister in Kentucky who made a snowman,packed it in dry ice and sent it to the class.
