Gephyrophobia is more common than I would have ever guessed,about 6 million Americans or 2.7% of the population has the fear of crossing bridges. I am not one of them and even enjoyed running across the Capilano Suspension Bridge which was no easy feat as it bucks with the motion making it hard to keep your feet,it is pictured below.
