Best Burger?

If price were the way a good burger was judged there is little doubt that the creation of Diego Buik would be near if not at the top of the heap at the cost of $2,304. Most burger lovers are willing to be a little adventurous but there is also something to be said for the purists. With the list of ingredients for this pricey burger it seems more like a status symbol than an epicurean delicacy.  This far from humble burger starts with Waygu  and Black Angus beef patty, lobster infused with Dutch Hermit Gin, foie gras, white truffle,Remeker cheese,Japanese fruit tomatoes, caviar,French lettuce,Iberian ham, lobster sauce,Jamaican Blue Mountain Coffee,Madagascan vanilla, saffron and Japanese soy. If this list isn't enough to make it worth the price closer inspection reveals the Brioche bun is made with saffron and covered in gold leaf.  I'm afraid this burger offends me in more ways than one.
