It's a tense, paranoid world we are living in today so it isn't surprising that something totally innocent is misinterpreted for something nefarious. A UK resident noticed a chalk marking on her sidewalk and took to social media to search for a meaning of the sign. One helpful sort said there had been chalk markings in her neighborhood denoting homes with dogs for a dog theft ring,someone else chimed in that they had seen five of the same markings in their neighborhood. Finally a voice of sanity spoke up to explain that there was nothing to worry about. Her son had come home from school with a piece of chalk and was practicing drawing butts on the sidewalks.
